Burns Bible

This Bible belonged to my late grandparents, Gordon and Lula Fields Burns. The Bible is in very poor conditions. Both covers are detached. The Bible is held together with a ribbon. Many pages were loose and stored at the end. The Burns family have resided in Lumpkin County Georgia since the Georgia Goldrush. Malachi Burns married there in 1835. He was the father of Robert Calhoun Burns, Henry Clay Burns, George Washington Burns, Mary Jeanette Burns and Cornelius Burns.
The Bible is owned by Jim Burns of Dahlonega, Georgia.
