Campbell Bible
The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments,
New York, American Bible Society, 1871.
The Bible itself is in fair to poor condition. The binding
is falling apart, and was subject to an amateur repair
before I got it. It does have both boards, and all pages,
endpapers and flyleaves in good condition, as far as
I can tell.
This is another truly orphan Bible, as nearly as I can tell.
Both children died in infancy or childhood, but the deaths
of the parents were recorded by someone.
I found them in Blair County, PA, in the US 1880 census, living
as farmers.
