Description:
Brown's Self-Interpreting Bible with numerous additional Notes. By the Reverend
Henry Cooke. The bible has no date but the Preface by Cooke is dated 1st March
1844.PUBLISHER London, Glasgow etc: Blackie & Son. 1347 pages plus 72 pages
of Hymns. Many engravings printed on heavy paper. Most with foxing but generally
away from the engraved area. Very heavy book at about 14 pounds/6kgs. Very nice
clean copy in full black calf. Small split to leather on left of spine but easily
repairable.
Some peripheral foxing on most pages.
