Kisner Bible

Das Neue Testament unsers herrn und heilandes Jesu Christi. New York, American Bible
Society, 1848. This Bible is in fair-poor condition. The back cover is detatched, and

all pages up to the first page of Mose (Genesis) are missing, as well as all pages after
the book of John. Interestingly, only one half page remains of the family register. A
VERY faint marking on the inside back cover says "Muncy Creek, Lycoming County".
I have scanned this in high resolution (1.5MB, beware!) so it can be made out.

In the 1900 Muncy Creek, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania federal census,
George Kisner lives with his wife, Stella (born October 1873) and brother
Jacob, who is single. Their birth dates match below. Stella was born in
Pennsylvania, as were her parents, and George and Jacob were born in
Pennsylvania, as was their father, but their mother was born in Germany.

George was a wagon-maker and Jacob was a day laborer.

In 1920, George, Stella and Jacob are still alive and in Muncy Creek.
