Henry Lampton was born October 25, 1760 in Culpepper County, Virginia.

Susannah Holmes, daughter of Edward Holmes and Sarah Ann Starke, was
born April 9, 1766 and married Henry Lampton January 3, 1785.
Children:
Thomas Catlett Lampton, born May 8, 1788, married Mildred Foushee, 1813.
Patsy Lloyd Lampton, born December 29, 1790, married John Holburt, September 17, 1812.
Ann Starke Lampton, born December 21, 1792, married Samuel Kerfoot.
Edmond Holmes Starke Lampton, born December 18, 1794, married Agnes McGoffin.
Joshua Elzey Lampton, born April 5, 1797, married Kate Hall.
Sally Conway Lampton, born February 27, 1799, married Dr. Goodman.
Lucinda Ethiford Lampton, born October 17, 1801, married John Aldridge.
Walker Taliaferro Lampton, born December 6, 1804, married Sallie Schrewsberry.
Henry Monroe Lampton, born December 6, 1808, married Mariah Upton.
James Madison Lampton, born June 18, 1811, married Eliza Hunter.
