This information is from a "family" Bible, published in 1871. Reubin Mann <Sr.> may have been the original owner, as his entries are the first ones on each page. However, this Bible has been passed down for several generations to descendants with several different surnames and no one remembers who owned it in the beginning. It mainly contains records of the Manns, Peacocks, and Rheneys:

Reubin J. Mann <Sr.> was born on the 26th of July 1845. R.J. Mann died 5th of June 1920.

Reubin was <first> married to Letitia Mary Cunningham on the 18th of July 1866.

Letitia M.<nee Cunningham?> Mann was born on the 19th of August 1844; died 2nd of May 1903.

Reuben's <second> wife was Mamie Aikens whom he married on 17 Jul 1904.

Reubin J. Mann (Jr.) was born on 25th of December 1868; died on the 16th of February 1869

Willie R. Mann was born on the 6th of May 1870; died 8th of February 1918

Susan "Susie" E. Mann was born 6th April 1874; died 3rd June 1949 at Augusta, GA

Ellen Letitia Mann was born 21st of February, 1876; died 20th of September 1877.

Susan E. Mann was born on the 6th of April 1874; died 3rd of June 1949 at 9:30 P.M. Augusta, GA.

Child of Susie Mann Peacock and Clarence G. Peacock:

Ella Mary Peacock born 29th April 1894.

Clarence G. Peacock died 13th of July 1896.
John H. Rheney and Susie E. Peacock were married 22nd January 1905 at bride's home, Tennille, GA by Rev. E.J. Smith.

John Holzendorf Rheney died 24th of June 1941 at 11:00 A.M.

Ella Mary Peacock and Ivey Vason Rainwater were married 20th November 1912 by Dr. Joseph R. Sevier, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Augusta, GA.

Child of Ella Mary and Ivey Rainwater:

Ivey Vason Rainwater, Jr. born 21st October 1913, son of I.V. and E.M. Rainwater.

Ella Mary Peacock Rainwater died Friday, 1st September 1989 at 5:30 A.M. at Waynesboro, GA. Buried at Zeta Cemetery in Tennille, GA, 3rd September 1989.

Louise Rheney and Henry Brave Watson were married 14th October 1933at Akin, S.C.

Julia Elizabeth Rheney married Arthur Paul Hurt 25 April 1934 at St. John's Church in Augusta, GA.

Arthur Paul Hurt died 25th June 1984, at Seneca, S.C. Buried Wertonn <?> Cemetery, Augusta, GA.
