Lyckholm Bible
Bibeln eller den Heliga Skrift, innehållende Gamla och
Nya Testamentets, Stockholm,
Samuel Rumstedt, 1833.
This Bible is in good condition, with the binding solid but
the boards nearly detached.
The first few pages are loose or detached, but none seem missing.
This Bible was purchased in the United States and I believe the "Dalesburg,
Dak."
reference is to Dalesburg, South Dakota. Many Swedes settled that area, and
there
is an active genealogy group
for the area, the Dalesburg Scandenavian Association.
A photo of Andrew Lyckholm's store is there.
Transcribed -- sort of -- and in possession of Tracy St. Claire, tracy@stclaire.org.
Passed to the Dalesburg Lutheran
Church in Vermillion, South Dakota at the
request of descendants,

where in Sweden this family originated.
